I am Waq , born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 11 February 1983.
I have interest in many things although doing very little to actually learn, and practise some of them. Among these are programming, philosophy, board games, movies, writing, general science, warfare, politics, jokes, travelling, martial arts, …

I started loving this game after watching the anime Hikaru No Go. Prior to that I played Chess a lot , both leisurely and in tournaments. Regarding ranking, I am currently 3d on KGS with nickname “Idazuwaika”. Feel free to talk to me about Go at any time.
My formal computing education started late, during my A-Level time. I took Computing course where I learned programming in Pascal. Programming made a lot of sense that time to me, and I enjoyed learning it a lot. Now … not so much sense, but still manageable.
I am proficient with Pascal, Delphi and C although my areas of specialty is only embedded programming and real-time operating system.
I am not a hardcore addict, but I do enjoy watching animes from time to time. I would write reviews if I have more time in a day. I have watched / am watching Hikaru No Go, Rurouni Kenshin, Scrapped Princess, Naruto, Bleach, Death Note, Ghost Hunt, Full Metal Alchemist, Onegai Teacher, Hajime No Ippo, Yuyu Hakusho, Initial D .. ugh many many others.
Maybe I am a hardcore after all.
Throughout years, I rise and fall, and fall again, and rise … but I do care about self-improvement.
In other than the subjects above, I might not be so much a worthy conversationalist.
